We’ve been having some powerful conversations lately about the process of creating the life you want—not just by thinking about it, but by intentionally aligning your thoughts, words, and actions. Today, we want to share a few of our experiences and a few key insights we’ve found supportive and even transformative at times.
One practice that Natasha uses with her daughters is a perfect example of aligning thoughts, words, and actions that naturally invites the desired results, even in surprising ways. Every morning, as they start their homeschool day, they set an intention for the relationships and experiences they want to create that day through affirmations in a “Creation Circle.” It’s not just about saying words; it’s about stepping into the energy of those words and embodying what they want to experience. Natasha encouraged her daughters to affirm the intention, “I am a great sister.” What began as a way to help her girls focus on positive relationships between themselves actually ended up improving Natasha’s own connection with her sister, as well. By affirming her role as a great sister, Natasha found herself naturally aligning with that energy, creating a deeper, more effortless connection.
This is where the real shift happens—when affirmations go beyond just words. It’s about integrating the mind, body, and spirit. When you affirm something with your voice, your emotions, and your energy, you’re activating a whole-body experience. This is something we’ve found to be key in our Elevate program. It’s about more than just thinking better thoughts; it’s about aligning your entire system to support the vision you have for yourself. Over time, as you practice this consistently, your subconscious begins to align with your desires, and that’s when real transformation begins.
But let’s be real: aligning your thoughts and beliefs isn’t always easy. Sometimes, you might notice resistance underneath your affirmations. If you’ve ever found yourself thinking positive thoughts and speaking those affirmations while your stomach is full of nervous butterflies or your heart is racing in doubt, you know that it may not be enough.
That’s where consistent, intentional action comes in. The more you reinforce your desired beliefs, the more your subconscious begins to align with them.
One tool we also recommend to break through resistance is the Self-Care Technique, a practice that helps you honor the resistance by giving it permission to be seen and heard, honoring it as you let it go, and then intentionally focusing on what you do want. This brings greater alignment to your whole system. By working through resistance and tuning into where your energy feels misaligned, you can release blockages and step into the version of yourself you’ve been affirming.
Natasha had a simple experience that illustrates the power of belief and how the universe can respond when you’re truly aligned with your desires. One day, she set an intention that she wanted to find Bermuda shorts in three specific colors: brown, turquoise, and rust orange. She wasn’t just saying this wish out loud; she was fully aligning herself with the belief that these shorts were already on their way to her. She visualized them and felt the certainty that they existed, even before she found them.
To her surprise, in such a short amount of time—just days later—Natasha came across exactly what she had visualized—Bermuda shorts in brown, turquoise, and rust, all in the right size and style. This wasn’t a coincidence; it was a direct reflection of the power of belief and aligning yourself with your desires. When you believe that what you want is already on its way, the universe begins to respond. Sometimes, the manifestation happens quickly, within a few days, and sometimes it takes longer. The key is staying focused and trusting in the unfolding process. Just like a baby, which has a nine-month gestation period, some visions take time to grow and develop before they come to fruition.
Here’s the thing we want you to take away from this: You are a powerful creator. But, to step into that power, you need to align your whole being—your thoughts, words, and body—toward the life you want to experience. All things are created spiritually first. When the spirit directs the mind, and the mind guides the body, that’s when the magic happens. When you are in tune with your powerful spiritual self and align with what you desire, everything starts to shift. And it doesn’t need to be hard or complicated. It’s about consistent, intentional action in your thoughts, words, and beliefs as you follow the guidance of the spirit.
So, take a moment right now and imagine the life you want to create. What does it look like? What feelings does it evoke? What do you want to step into today? Your imagination is a powerful tool in this process. It’s not about waiting for the perfect moment; it’s about aligning with that vision right now, in this moment, and stepping into it with confidence. Trust that as you engage your imagination, you’re also engaging your spiritual self, aligning with the highest vision for your life.
